Photographer captured Hong Kong streets of the fifties

Photographer Fan Ho moved to Hong Kong from Shanghai in 1949. Since then he has captured the street life of Hong Kong in the 1950s in beautiful black and white photos. It was real challenging job as most of the people were superstitious and Hong Kong was not like what we see it today. He wishes to publish these photographs in his upcoming book “Fan Ho: A Hong Kong Memoir” that will connect the old city with the bustling metropolis of today.
