Just around Valentine’s Day, mom Mallory Smothers of Arkansa suddenly found her baby struggling with cold.
The mom pumped out some breast milk that evening, and again on the following morning, and found that the milk was not like the usual one. Smothers recalls an article in a medical bulletin which described the changes occurring in mother’s milk for fighting the child’s ailment. According to the article, “The mom’s body will automatically modify the immunological ingredients of the mother’s milk enabling it to fight the disease-producing micro-organisms in the child’s body. Medical investigation of breast milk and the cells fighting infections has discovered that the infection-fighting cell count increased when the nursing baby had an infection.
