These self-representations by Sam Taylor-Wood are really moving. As she investigates ideas of weight and gravity, she puts herself in circumstances where her inside and outer feeling of self is in struggle. Conceived in London in 1967, Taylor-Wood learned at Goldsmiths College and went ahead to wind up distinctly a productive producer and picture taker. Profoundly acclaimed, Sam was selected for the Turner Prize in 1997 and won the Illy Caf Prize for Most Promising Young Artist at the 47th Venice Biennale. Adulate truly isn’t that imperative to me from anybody other than the general population whose sentiment I regard. I don’t hunger for it – and I never read audits any more.
