The place is New Mexico’s desert, where American artist Ra Paulette has been trekking alone with his dog for the past 10 years to work. His job is to carve a sandstone cave which he discovered, into a wonderful underground cave with liberal lighting arrangements. All alone but in the company of his dog, Paulette made caverns with different designs and styles, assigning unique textures and qualities for each. The ostensible objective behind making these caverns with mammoth artwork is to create an atmosphere inspiring “spiritual renewal and personal well-being.” Once over, it can also become a celebrated venue for organizing artistic events.
